Heart and Hooves Ranch Riding Association

At Heart and Hooves Arena and Michelle Jerry Horsemanship we are always looking to broaden our horsemanship horizons. Whether it’s starting a Liberty Horse Challenge, expanding our Trail Retreats to South Dakota, or now venturing into the exciting world of Ranch Riding, We believe in fostering versatility in both horses and riders.

Why Ranch Riding?

Ranch Riding seemed like a natural fit for our philosophy. In the summer of 2023, Michelle and a group of Heart and Hooves friends took the plunge and attended a Ranch Riding show. It was an eye-opening experience—filled with a welcoming yet bustling atmosphere. However, we quickly realized that the event wasn’t very beginner-friendly, which can be discouraging for newcomers to this rewarding discipline. The Heart and Hooves Solution Michelle had an idea:

Why not start our very own Ranch Riding Association?

This initiative allows us to:

  • Host Our Own Shows: Creating an environment that is supportive and fun for riders of all levels.

  • Offer Clinics: Providing hands-on learning to help participants build confidence and skills.

  • Focus on Beginners: Ensuring that those just starting out feel welcome, supported, and excited about their Ranch Riding journey.

We’re excited to bring this vision to life and help riders and their equine partners discover the joy and versatility that Ranch Riding has to offer.

Stay tuned for updates on shows, clinics, and opportunities to join the Heart and Hooves Ranch Riding Association!
